Shut hit the fan. Cps called my wife Friday and said that they are picking up our little girl this Tuesday and giving her to grandma. We feal it's a bad idea as does her lawyer. I'm asking all of you to pray for a miracle that tomorrow things change. I know not everyone on this sight shares the same faith in God that I do but I'm gathering as many people as I can. It's never to late. Thanks to all.

Daaaang. I had a coworker who got into some serious drugs. He was fired but one of my other co-workers was a friend of his and recently went over for a visit over there. This guy told me the druggie guys kid is running around without a diaper on crapping all over the floor and nothing is being cleaned. All the while the parents are cooking meth and high as a couple of kites... I asked why somebody hasn't called CPS on them. He said they had been there at least for various reasons. Obviously they didn't think the situation was bad enough to take the kids out of there... The system is so fucked up it's amazing.

Hoping you can pull out a miracle!

Indirectly, I've seen CPS in action.
I'd be hard pressed to find a more dysfunctional govt entity in Texas.
Our only hope is a judge with a semblance of morals.

I've dealt with CPS, still know a couple folks that are really trying, but it has been years. Far too many now try to opperate on feelings instead of the law. Or to prove they "know better" or can rehabilitate bad families instead of the best for the child.
Hopeing for the best for you and the baby.

Grandma passed her home inspection and wants her. And since she is family cps is going with grandma. Even though it's not the best place for her

Oh my goodness. How hard beyond words. Thank you for what you do for this sweet baby.

What a messed up way to abruptly change custody. I can’t think it’s good for baby, who can’t understand. I’ve seen CPS do it before. I’m very critical of them.

CPS operates inside the laws as they are written.

Might be surprised to find that many of those doing the inspections are no happier about these situations than you or I. Also keeping in mind that it's nearly impossible to make laws to cover all situations without creating a mess that would allow kids to be taken from good homes as well.

    Terribly sorry for your situation.
