I carry Hornady Critical Defense in all my handguns, but I'm always willing to try other ammo out. I saw a box of this ammo that I had never seen before and bought it at my local Academy. Wanted to know about any thoughts regarding it. Apparently this is not brand new technology. The EFMJ round has been around for awhile, so why is Federal marketing "old news" in a "new box"? It is also only a 135 grain load. Sorry if this topic has already been discussed.

I see the purpose of the design for the demographics they are going after.

I bet it works just fine and i would love to get some and set up an over penetration test to see if it acts how i think it would.
