This is not extremely new. They had it on the news the other day that the CIA was tracking computer activity of staffers looking in to interrogation tactics used by the CIA.

They love their guard dogs (3 letter agencies) until they start looking to use them as as pawns for political gain. Now it just shows the level of corruption we are heading towards. Poised to start heavily swaying political careers and making sure those who attempt to bring corruption to light are dealt with.

So, while it may be fun to watch someone like Feinstien squirm, it is a very bad sign of what is happening in our government.
