While we are looking the other direction at HR 127 and Universal Background Check bills, Di Fi is introducing another assault weapons ban. This one is very similar to the 1994 AWB, except no sunset clause. They are going to continue throwing everything they can at us. Something is bound to stick.

They're the ones that want it, not us. We need to firmly explain to others that *they* are the aggressors and work VERY HARD to make the case that we indeed have the moral high ground. FYI, SOME of us ARE "gun toting rednecks" & we still are the REAL Texans & despite how much higher education that we may have, we still have NO use & virtually NO tolerance for "outsiders" who want to tell us how to run our lives.
(I'm from CAMP COUNTY & it's hard to be more "country" than that.)

After looking at the list of exempted firearms, it seems like my Remington 788 and Ruger 10/22 will be among the banned. There is an exemption for the Nylon 66 tho.
