McALLEN, Texas (AP) - A south Texas couple has been charged with
abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence after a fetus was
found in a gift box.

Ruby Lee Medina and Javier Gonzalez were arraigned on charges of
abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence Monday in San Juan.
Bond was set at $20,000 for both.

San Juan Police Chief Juan Gonzalez tells The McAllen Monitor
that investigators believe the two had tried to abort the fetus
seven months into Medina's pregnancy.

It was not immediately clear if either Medina or Gonzalez had
retained attorneys.

As in another thread - forget the title but I'll say the same thing here.
The morality and ethics of this country have been lower so low by the entertainment and judicial system that people have no remorse. Death is common place and life is cheap.
God has been removed from our schools and daily social life and in the absence of God then evil will prevail.

I agree

I agree with the fact that God is being slowly removed from this great country of ours in Schools , sports and entertainment business. What we all were taught when we were young , the government now has a hand in dictating our livelyhood. So its up to us as parents and guardians to teach our kids not to forget what IS right and wrong. Thats why we have people like that getting rid of a fetus's, no morality , No ethics, no conscience at all. Just live for today. I for one hope they get whats coming to them. I know its close to Christmas and all...but what fault is it of the new born .
