My dad is very much a "from my cold dead hands" kinda guy. Now that "he" is in office, dad is really frazzled. I don't really go that far to the left, but .. Anyway, my question is, how are FFLs handled? If I buy an unliked by the new reich rifle, would the FFL be another way to track the gun down?

    The hypothetical situation

2 guns, private sales. All else equal. One far away, and one a few hours by car. Same price, same everything. Would you buy the out-of-state gun and FFL transfer it, or buy the local gun and drive 2 hours to pick it up?

I would do the FTF. You can examine the merchandise before purchase. There would be no record of the transaction and no transfer fees.

It's not about the money, its about the trail. The central government has no business knowing what I have purchased or have in my own inventory.

I like dealing FTF as you usually can also get a better deal.Shipping and transfer fee's can really add up after a while.
