    CNN ran the story because it is newsworthy and generates viewing time. Viewing generates $$. $$ drives content. It is a circle, but the more controversial a topic is, the more it will generate money.

    It is interesting that the victims made these claims given that they knowingly moved to Mexico which was both dangerous and does not allow for guns.

    If they were able to take away our guns here in the U.S., I don't see that it would be any better.

    That's the point she is getting across I believe.
