    The MPX? I'm pretty sure that's a different beast, not an AR15 rifle. Pretty sure no buffer tube from the pictures. They look awesome. I was tempted....

    Yup.
    MPX is unique and original.
    Short stroke piston with propellant gas bled off right in front of chamber.

    No buffer tube. 2 actuator springs are an integral part of the bolt group that is piston driven.

    Engineered to handle wide range if barrel lengths, ammo types, suppressors etc.

    A specialized variant of piston AR.

    IMO a great feat.
