Congratulations. Be aware that it might take another few weeks after approval to actually receive your cans as SilencerCentral does not release them to you until they have confirmed receipt of your CLEO notification by the named party.

This applies across the board to anyone shipping a suppressor directly to your house.

I can’t figure out why anyone wanted to deal with Silencer Central when Capitol Armory is right here in Texas and can offer the same services.

Silencer Central is notorious for delays in getting silencers to their purchasers. Sometime several weeks delay. That’s why I said you’ll probably be lucky to see it within a year.

You can’t figure out why I went with Silencer Central? Let me enlighten you….marketing!

I am a newbie to suppressors and while I did some research on what to buy, I went with the company I’d heard about on where to buy.

And as I’m sure you will point out, they probably have been mentioned a few million times on the forum, but so is a lot of crap I don’t follow, so my bad.

Now that I know about them, I’ll look to use them if I buy any more. Thanks for the info.

Don't worry about it. Everybody has their favorite dealer to buy from.
You'll be very happy with the Banish 30 suppressor, just make sure to put a liberal amount of Anti-seize on the threads of the end cap before you use it, or it will get carbon locked where it will not come apart.
I've got an earlier version of it that they called the Varminter 3.0, and it's one of my favorite suppressor's. I like it better than both of my Thunder Beast suppressor's, and they are very good cans.
Mack Brothers have been making suppressor's for a very long time, and they make the Banish for Silencer Central.

Buzz, check the r/NFA subreddit next time. Lots of real world experience with cans and sellers.
I will. I do appreciate the assistance and info, but I’ve only got so much free time to spend researching. I do feel bad about missing on Capitol Armory. I try and support TX businesses when I can.

I am putting this can on my Ruger SFAR, which with the factory comp is obnoxious as heck for anyone to the side of me.

Again, thanks much. No worries or butthurt about the comments. I’m gonna work through this and get it figured out.

    Helotes!
Capitol Armory would get my nod as they sponsor the annual Quiet in the Capital event in Manchaca, a free opportunity to try suppressors from several manufacturers. I went this year, and recommend getting there as early as possible to avoid the crowds! As you can imagine, it is a popular event!

If you have to scratch the suppressor itch with something during the long wait, consider a nice little 3-D printed airgun suppressor from Buckrail here in Texas, about $40 and comes in the mail a few days later. ;)
Sorta kidding, but I bought this one for my Benjamin Cayden PCP .22 and it works great.
