The move by Colt Competition into Breckenridge comes as the CEO of Colt Manufacturing in Connecticut has said there will soon be few good answers to keep his company in the state. Connecticut passed some of the nation’s most restrictive gun laws this week.

Colt Manufacturing has been in the same area for over 175 years. They would be hard-pressed to move due to the loss of experienced workers at their factory BUT due to the fact that Connecticut has passed such draconian anti-gun laws, it may be in Colt's best interest to move to a state that is more receptive to them and their product.
