    Ruger 10/22 - Imgur

    First 10/22 build.
Standard Ruger 10/22 Added: picatinny rail,
    Simmons 22 mag 3x9x32 scope,
    KNOXX Axiom R/F Stock,
    UTG Bi-pod,
    Kidd Ultralight threaded Barrel,
    Kidd Bolt Buffer,
Kidd 2lb drop in trigger with auto bolt release,
    Kidd charging handle and spring

Just finished it.. cant wait to get to the range this weekend.

I had a bull barrel on this but it was way too front heavy for me and I needed a threaded barrel for my Silencerco Sparrow SS I ordered.
I also have a red dot I already had laying around to mount on the gun as well for plinking.
I would like to put some iron sights on this. I could put some flip up sight on the rear. The front I have seen some barrel clamps with a rail or sight directly on them. I have heard this could mess with the barrel harmonics causing some accuracy issues...something similar to this:

JP Enterprises Picatinny Rail Sight Mounting Block .875 Inside

Any one set sights up this way before? Thoughts?

    looks really Nice!

I've been thinking about getting a Kidd barrel for my 10/22 so i'd be interested to see how it shoots.

I've been pretty happy with the Blackhawk stock on my Charger, so I am going to put a stainless compact 10/22 in one of their rifle stocks to create a lightweight sporter.

The tighter chambers of some of the after-market barrels have caused function issues for me with bulk ammo, but do offer better accuracy when fed "target-grade" ammo.

Once you start, you cannot stop. The "force" to add & play with more gadgets will own you.

    Nice rig!
