First, HUGE thanks to @Sam Colt for helping me zero and letting me remove a pig from his collection.

After 2 boxes I finally pulled my head out of my ass and figured out the controls on the device and then off to the blind.

Shortly after getting there a group of about 20 pigs showed up

Was still daylight but needed to make sure everything was good to go so I took my shot.

and 15 yards from where he was shot, dead pig. Maybe 100ish lbs.

That looks like a great way to spend the evening! I can’t wait to see the video.

Nice! Well all be impatiently awaiting the video.
The video is not particularly impressive compared to others that are out there. Pig did not drop in his tracks, stagger runs about 15 yards before collapsing out of camera view.

The pic/ shot is about 100 yards away and was shooting a lever gun so you really can’t see the hit.

It is a thing, an no, I do not use it. Have a couple of threads on the utter failure of the Hornady SubX 30-30 on deer. Gun is pretty quiet with power-shok 170 gr
I will have to hunt down those threads you posted on the subsonic ammo.

Pigs sure seem smarter than deer. When I finally got to go hunting this year had a group of six does at the feeder. Shot one and the other five just stood there for about 20 seconds then resumed feeding. I noticed those pigs scattered when you fired.

I have some 125g hp’s I load for my 3030. Curious how loud the non-subs are through a can.

After seeing yours I’ve considered getting my 3030 barrel threaded.

Asked before but here again. Looks like the scope and rattler are off axis. is that normal? Could a reflex RD be used with it? Read the manual, not sure how that works.
