I got a recurve and want to hunt some hogs. Martin recurve is what I shoot. I want a crossbow soon for sport and target. What you wanna get into?

if you live near a Cabelas or any bow shop, check out the PSE brand.
I have a Stinger and love it.
main thing is have a professional bow tech set the bow up for who is going to shoot it.

a compound bow isn't like a gun that can be passed from shooter to shooter with the same results.
your arm length and other factors determine how to set the bow up for comfort and accuracy
this sets your arrow length also, as you want to shoot the shortest arrows possible.

for instance, my draw length is different from my son's

we can shoot each other's bow, but our own bows are fitted to us and we can both shoot very accurate out to 30 or so yards
