    Actually the one that really would like working is Japan, just falls open and does not lock open or closed any more, held a great edge.

    The take away here is that India and China hate each other, so this might qualify as the “my enemy’s enemy is my friend” scenario. Me personally, I would rather have the good ole US of A, but absent that, I would damn sure have something made in India vs. China

    There aren't many things that can go wrong with that type of knife, except if a bunch of gunk builds up in the mechanism. Get a small screwdriver and clean it out. If you've got some spray gun cleaner or other spray cleaning solvent, you can use a little in there. If there's corrosion on the brass parts, a little piece of fine sandpaper can be used. After cleaning, a bit of gun oil wiped through it should get it working again.
