This is a very soli shooter. Old Fn Belgium made on the Browning patent. Not sure of age, but have read maybe between 1909-1920's because of the safety. Got me???? It is solid, had worn finish of course, missing the hold switch (name?) but functions fine without it. It has a plain barrel with no rib. Chip off forend wood. Fuctions great, last year I had a gunsmith put in a new firing pin. Not sure the value on this one, it varies depending on where you look. I put $100 in it with the new recoil pad and firing pin, so I'll take $200 if anyone is interested in a fun old 12 gauge.
Markings: are very worn but left side of reciever =Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal Belg????
Left side of barrel has markings that are hard to rea but seems to have Especial, and a Horizontal Horeshoe type shape with a 12-70 in it.
Serial number 966**
Number on Bolt matches number on case.
If interested contact ASAP I will be leaving Thursday.
