Been happening for years. Blame the majority of parents. They're the ones that started abandoning their kids to the care of the ISD's. The ISD's just now really started running with the idea about a decade ago. It's not just Democrats. A great percentage of parents have been brainwashed to think the ISD knows best how to raise a child. Think of public school as mandatory CPS intervention.

School choice (which includes private schools), vouchers, would solve 99% of all of these problems. The problem is schools should be allowed "to go out of business" so to speak.

That being said, I love that Democrats are campaigning on this issue (taking control of kids from parents). Such a losing issue to campaign on, the mid-terms will be great.

The same ones are going to vote the same way they have been since 1965.
It is impossible to communicate with some people.
And the more liberal ones have no idea what is going on in this country unless it is on MSM.

I mean maybe. But as we saw in Virginia, the "schools own your kids" platform wasn't exactly a winning formula for Dems.

Democrats and ethical behavior are like water and oil.

Dems, as I found out in California, love to play the "long game". That's where they beat conservatives.

They knew that slowly integrating woke BS curriculum would help them create more woke voters in the future.

Except they went to far in places like Virginia where their plans backfired because some pedophile groomers were stuffing the library with gay porn literature.

Now we need to fight back and call them out and expose the groomers and pedos and get them fired.

This is why you teach your kids what is right, or someone else will teach them.
My kids have corrected a teacher or two over the years. Telling them that’s a opinion not truth.
My wife is a teacher in a charter school (she refuses to ever teach in a public school) it’s sad that most parents aren’t involved in their kids school.

Problem started when parents gave over control of their children to the teachers and the school districts and became less involved with the daily activities of their children.

Parents stopped getting involved with the PTA and school board meetings and elections. I think some of what was going on came to light during the Covid "pandemic" while the children were being virtual schooled and many parents started seeing things that their children were being taught. Not fully realizing it had been ongoing for decades.
