    I'm new to NFA fun stuff, just planing to fill out a form 1 efile but i need info on the Cleo on my area. I found chief of police ED Kraus but not sure if him or someone else. I can't remember what website that i went and they mention someone else on my area. I don't know if this help I'm located closed to 820 & 35w. thanks in advance

    I always recommended the county sheriff. They are usually a much better option than an appointed political position of police chief.

    I haven messed with this in texas or the last 25 years but I am going to SBR my 9mm AR pistol. So I will watch the responses.

    When I applied for my FFL 03, I sent the notification to the CLEO of the department that serviced my neighborhood. I would do the same for your paperwork.

    The good news is they don't need to sign off, it's just a notification.
