I am hoping to hit up the close range (Elm Fork) today to see if I can get a 100 yard zero. Just have to wait for the wife to finish grocery shopping. I am on watch my son duty lol

No unfortunately he is too young, he is only 15 months. I didn't get a chance to go yesterday. I will try to go today, the weather should be a bit warmer than yesterday.
Finally got out to the local range Elm Fork (its only 100 yards) After about 60 rounds nothing came loose and I was able to put a group of 9 rounds in about a 3/4 inch group. The new scope base and cleaning and re locktite all the screws seems to have held up. I used brake cleaner to get every bit of oil and dirt out of the screw holes. Zeroing went quick. I wont be able to get back out to Triple C range till after the new year but next time lets hope I can beat my last longest shot of 1400 yards. I am dying to get out to 1 mile with the 300 win mag. and It was also not the muzzle brake.
