This guy showed up 2am Thanksgiving day with no tags. Have posted him to the main Facebook groups in my area and no one has claimed him. Wife already left a message for animal control, we can't keep him and don't want him to get hit by a car. Its gonna rain tonight through tomorrow and he should get picked up. Just wanted to see if anyone was interested beforehand?

Cute dog. Last time a stray crossed my path I kept her so I’m full up. Maybe there’s a husky rescue group online

Wish I could. As it is, my "stray"that adopted me, won't stay penned, so he runs loose. Close to home, but loose nonetheless. I tried. Ended up with a couple trenches, and watched him jump over a three foot wire fence once. Gave up on that idea. So...

One rescue needs the dog taken to a shelter to be scanned and then might be able to pull it from the shelter.

Apparently this guy has been roaming for months, staying awhile at houses that feed him. I would try to hold him longer if I didn't have chickens, goats and a LGD that would fight.

Got another person interested in the pup. Last person bailed on me earlier today, so hopefully this new lady doesn't and is a decent seeming person.(never know)

Still let me know if you or someone you know is interested in 2nd dibs.

Has the dog been checked to see if it has a chip implanted? That would contain owner/vet info if I am not mistaken.

Not yet, we will either hand him over to the shelter and they can see or the potential new owner can check with their vet. We were able to find this guy posted on Nextdoor and Facebook a couple months ago with no owner found. Other people have comments stating he's been roaming since August.

We have an old general store that's pretty much the heart of our town. If the owner hasn't looked there by now, then to me they aren't looking.

That is one beautiful looking Husky. I do hope you find him a good home as well. He looks like he would make someone an excellent companion.

I don't need another dog for sure, but, if I was closer, I'd sure give a lot of thought! Of course, me and him would probably have to share a doghouse!
