If some FFL dealers started thinking outside of the box they might actually start making a profit. IE: Take Colt LE AR15's & bust them apart. The parts alone are worth more than the entire rifle is sells for retail.

I'll bite here. Why do you think that splitting an upper from the lower and selling them separately will increase the value?

$85 is CA prices. Ridiculous. My FFL Plano (Hart Sports) charges only $10 is you have your CHL.

locally, there’s a kitchen table ffl that charges me $15. most places here are @$20 (best lil texas pawn is $10 but they’re across town)
