    Frankly, I'm NOT sure what is "reasonable", inasmuch as I've seen "trophy fees" of up to 5,000.oo. - IF you check the "exotic auction results", VERY NICE mature Axis bucks can be bought for 600-750.00, so I regard 5,000.00 as highly UNREASONABLE.

    Stupid question, but asking nonetheless. What does Axis taste like compared to a "normal" whitetail deer? Is it similar, different? (assume similar preparation) just trying to understand. Thanks

    Thanks guys, any tip and suggestions on Axis ? I hunt white tail usually so are these any diffrent ? timings they show up etc ?
