Last week I made a fabulous loaf of French bread.
I got out the Kitchenaide mixer and dough hook. I followed the directions in the Kitchenaide booklet to a “T”, yeast, warm water, salt and bread flour.
Baked for 20 minutes, applied egg wash for golden crust.
    It came out absolutely beautiful.
I let it cool on a rack and had a slice with butter at dinner. Like I said, fabulous!
I got a present for my wonderful French bread.

Every french bread I tried to make came out like a bat. Gave up when fresh bread at HEB was only a dollar. Nice you accomplished making fresh bread. Love the smell of bread baking.

See that a lot working around ovens. I got mine on the bottom side pulling meat film into a wrapping station.
