Got a new PSA upper a few weeks ago, mounted a Burris 3x and a Green hunting light. Went out around 2200 pm Tuesday the 7th and was scanning the field with a hand held Gen 1 nv. He came out at 75 yards and walked within 40 yards when I dropped him with a honardy 123 sst.
One shot down and a second to the head to anchor him.

I'm really impressed, I had been using honardy black 556 with the 75gr bthp and it was wacking them but the 7.62x39 really put him down with authority. I was going to use some 125gr wolf soft points but found the honardy steel with the 123sst so went that route and glad I did.

I bought a box of the Fusion and will try it this coming weekend. I whacked two more last weekend. I shot the first sow with the SST ad switched to the Wolf 125 SP to see how it did. I forgot how Smoky the wolf is. Had to move about five feet to my left to get out of the smoke cloud from the wolf ammo besides that it dropped a small boar at 75 yards.
