Cerakote, you say? I was at a local gunsmith today and he had an album of his cerakote work. One was an old Colt revolver refinished to look like it was completely covered in rust.

I've got a 1950s-vintage Colt .32 revolver and a S&W M29 that both need refinishing. I wonder how they'd look after a looks-like-rust cerakote.

In the old days we spent hours carefully applying liquids to our long rifles to get that 'patina' just right. Browning formulas were closely guarded secrets.

In the 90's we were at a Cowboy Mouth concert at a rodeo. Some guy started crowd surfing. I guess he got to s section of people that didn't give a crap. The crowd parted and he went crashing to earth.
