Years ago I had to meet my girlfriend at a service station because “My wheel keeps rubbing on the fender.” It was and the mechanic and I worked to pry it off the wheel, but as soon as the steering wheel was turned it was rubbing again. LSS the bearing was powder and the inner race was welded to the spindle.
