I'd say that was from a headshot, but I dont see any brains so I'd guess neck/throat which cause some of the splatter as the artery squirted or he coughed.

The last person (body) I dealt with that had been headshot left a lot of brains in his lap and in the console (suicide, they came out of the entrance hole). There was also a huge pool of jellied blood in his seat once the medical examiner took him out of the car. I had gotten there within probably 60sec of him shooting himself.
