I object. A fully functioning office chair was important in the cramped workspace of my Air Force job. On the other hand, my office was air-conditioned and it had a really great view.
I also had appreciative customers. They never seemed unhappy if I “dropped” in, but their competition was often dismayed by my interruption—even to the point of being quite defensive at times.

4 different service branch members were asked what they would do if they found a scorpion in their pup tent.

Army: Smash it with my boot
Marine: Smash it with my trenching tool
Navy: Swat it with the Playboy mag I was reading
Air Force: Jump up in the bed and scream there's a scorpion in that tent and why is a pup tent in my suite???
