    It seems to me that the best way to prevent unnecessary/redundant threads would be to PM CAM before starting a new thread and ask him if the new thread is necessary. And the same goes for posting anything in any existing thread to find out if it has already been posted.

    Seems only logical to me but... your post is, more than likely, redundant!!!!!!

    The best way is common sense.
    Don't start a new thread to post a funny/political meme or video.

    Use the search feature, especially if it involves Biden.
    Just type in "Biden".

    Really very simple.

    Don't forget, I'm not the one that merges redundant threads.
    A Forum administrator does that.
    It is completely up to him

    Because it's too much trouble for people to check what was posted since the last time they visited before posting something. Is it laziness or they can't figure out how to do it. Perhaps Ben could post a tutorial on the subject.

    When you do a search for 'biden' it brings up 456 pages of results. So I think that it would be easier to just ask you before posting anything.
