    Had a guy from another department call me for help, and didn't like (more like didn't understand) my answer. He proceeds to tell me I was wrong, and went on to tell me how the system I designed, built, and provisioned actually worked. I responded "well it sounds like you know more about it than I do, and have it all figured out" and hung up.

    The phone rang a couple minutes later, this time he took a whole different approach :shades:

    Not necessarily. If he was adding management packages, apps, etc. got to have the hardware running first. That means physical build, not a software build.
    This is pretty much correct. We develop most of our stuff in-house, which shifts a lot of the provisioning to the end of the project.
