A really cool animal to see in the wild. They will dig a death trap hole overnight!

They will dig a huge hole in search of ants. Eventually a spider builds a web across it, then its covered with various debris. My hunting buddy stepped into one, busting up some tendons in his foot & leg. It could have been a compound fracture. It could have contained the wrong snake. He wasn't able to walk on it, for the pain.

Long painful ride for him into a town with a private hospital. They handed out amply narcotics & put him in a splint. He ended up going to Sin City while I continued hunting.
