Shot 200 rounds of CCI Mini Mags and went to clean it tonight and the threads on the barrel shroud were seized. It has never happened before. I do clean it every time I shoot it. I poured Kroil down the suppressor and after a few minutes and sheet rubber wrapped around the shroud with some very judicious use of pump pliers, got it off. I put some high temp anti-seize on after cleaning the threads. Of course the Kroil went throughout the action too, but it is clean.....

Personally I wouldn't buy the Mist again. I am running a couple of the Ruger Silent SR direct thread suppressors and actually prefer them to the Mist......

For the price of a Gemtech Mist you buy two direct thread 22LR cans........

Of course all 22LR cans are a pain to clean.......

Anyone else have a Mist and care to comment?

It's definitely sticky trying to unthread it sometimes, but I typically just smack it a few times, then work it back and forth a bit until it spins off.
