I moved here from NC about 4 months ago, and haven't made it to any Funshows yet. One of the things I loved being in the southeast (I've been stationed in NC, SC, and GA at various times) was being able to buy Georgia Arms ammo at gunshows and thus avoiding shipping charges.

Do they ever make it to any shows in TX, and if so, which ones?

I don't recall ever seeing a vendor by that name at any of the shows I've been to in central Texas. However, there are usually several places selling ammo in bulk, so if your desire is to pick up a bunch of the stuff, the opportunity is there...

I used to buy from them at the Cabbarrus county shows in NC, I have ordered online, but shipping is high. I miss them.. And no, you won't find them at TX gunshows

I'm going to have to do some math on ATG...does their price + sales tax < or = AIM Surplus or Palmetto State Armory + shipping.

I'm looking specifically at (non-magentic) .30-06 FMJ. GA's stuff comes in at $7 less per 100 rounds when they have it in stock than the next lowest, which is Prvi Partizan from AIM. They're $10 less per 100, before tax, than ATG.

Problem is, GA doesn't have any .30-06 FMJ right now due to a shortage of brass.

I have done a lot of internet searching, & I have never found Georgia Arms to have the best price on what I was looking for. AIM Surplus, yes.
