    This is my take on the subject:

    Georgia governor signs pro 2nd bill.

    Mad mommies who are Hoplophobic Libtards and spend more time griping about the 2nd Amendment instead of mothering their children are definitely upset with Georgia's House Bill 60, or the Safe Carry Protection Act of 2014.

    This is the bill the hoplophobes have nicknamed the "guns everywhere bill". GeorgiaCarry, lobbied for the bill.

    This law expands the ...places that Georgia residents can legally carry firearms. Unfortunately, it allows certain property owners, namely churches and bars, to make judgments on whether they want worshippers and patrons carrying guns. I disagree with this unless the patrons may hold these anti 2nd amendment property owners strictly liable for injuries test could have been prevented by a CHL holder. But I digress.

    "Roughly 500,000 Georgia citizens have a permit of this kind, which is approximately 5 percent of our population. License holders have passed background checks and are in good standing with the law. This law gives added protections to those who have played by the rules -- and who can protect themselves and others from those who don't play by the rules."

    In an effort to protect Georgia's school children The Safe Carry Protection Act of 2014 will also allow the carrying of firearms by any "duly authorized official of a public or private elementary or secondary school or a public or private technical school, vocational school, college, university, or other institution of post-secondary education or a local board of education."

    This puts firearms in the hands of people who will be on the scene if a shooting actually occurs in a school. No more Columbines or Sandy Hooks for Georgia school children. They could have gone One step further and kegsluzed carry by any CHL holder.

    One Libtard anti 2nd amendment group complained that "Among its many extreme provisions, it allows guns in TSA lines at the country's busiest airport, forces community school boards into bitter, divisive debates about whether they should allow guns in their children's classrooms, and broadens the conceal carry eligibility to people who have previously committed crimes with guns."

    As proof that this expansion of Georgia's 2nd Amendment rights was a step in the right direction, the expected Libtard filled government organizations opposed it's passage:
    gun bill in state history, the legislation ... was opposed by
    1. Georgia law enforcement,
    2. county commissioners,
    3. municipal leaders, and the
    4. Transportation Security Administration

    They opposed the bill because it expanded the law abiding citizens ability to protect themselves and their families while decreasing the citizens reliance on the government.

    So what else did the law do for the 2nd Amendment crowd:
    1. allow soldiers to obtain a carry license at age 18 if they've completed basic training and are either actively serving or have been honorably discharged.

    2. allow hunters to use silencers and suppressors when the owner of the property where they're hunting is aware they're using such a device;

    3. permit gun owners who have had their licenses revoked to apply for a new license after three years;

    4. restrict access for anyone whom a court has deemed mentally incompetent or insane, or anyone involuntary committed to a mental institution;

    5. forbid police officers who see a resident carrying a gun to ask for their permit unless they're committing a crime.

    And that is good stuff for Georgia!

    Rule 5 is the one I'm most happy to see of the lot. Rule 3 is probably the least needed.

    No news here, move along folks. Georgia finally bucked the Democrats' never ending attempt to bar people of any color from owning firearms. This bill was aimed squarely at poor inner city folk so they could take their neighborhoods back from thugs and gangsters.
