Citizens have been persecuted for doing the same in Seattle and Portland. IMO people that beat on cars and sometimes attempt to drag others out of the car, for nefarious reasons, deserve what they get.

This is a direct result of the "give 'em a trophy", "he was a good boy", "my kid would never do that!" mentality that eroded discipline and the respect for authority over the last 30-40 years.
The dude yelling, "WTF" repeatedly is SHOCKED because he has no respect for, or understanding of the need for, law enforcement or authority in general - most likely because Momma buys and washes his clothes, feeds him, and Daddy drove him to the protest.
