Glock 19 Threaded Barrel?

Pretty simple, looking for recommendations for a G19 threaded barrel. I do carry the gun from time to time do I would like something that I can use on a carry gun. My carry G19 is a Gen 3

Also, is it possible to switch barrels between the Gen 2 and Gen 3 glocks? Both model 19s.

I know a lot of folks who run Lone Wolf barrels and love them. Plus they're pretty cool people, met them at SHOT several times.

Thanks guys. I am assuming since these aren't specifying a Gen model that they are fine to go on say a 2 or 3 without issues?

I put a LW threaded barrel in my Gen 2 and it works great. This thing is a total hybrid....G17 frame, G22 slide and after market LW barrel. The thing shoots like a freaking champ! You should have no qualms about going for it.

I use a drop in g19 tb from lone wolf. Works great, no smith required.

We like the lone wolf barrels too, we use them a lot on shop guns as well as Jarvis and a couple of others. But the lion's share are Lone Wolf barrels in the Glocks...

Use them with confidence.

Another + for Lone Wolf, run them in all my Glocks & have threaded for cans as well...



ETA: they also have conversion barrels as well.

I see that AAC is coming out with threaded barrels as well. Since Silenced America screwed up and didn't e-file my can when they should have, I now have a few more months before I need a barrel I might wait and see how the reviews are on the AAC models as well.

I'd personally buy a KKM barrel, I feel they are made better than the LWDs

Barsto Precision is quality, I have a 9mm conversion for my .40 Sig226 and it's great.

LWD has some definite quality control issues. I would be careful with them, and if you have a choice, I'd go factory, KKM or something else. The LWD barrel I had for my G17 worked just fine. The one Alan had for his G19 wouldn't even lock up properly and was out of spec. More than a few people have had similar issues, with their aftermarket Glock slides as well.
