glock 26 or 27 for cc

does anyone CC a glock27(.40 s&w)? I have been considering a glock26(9mm) for CC since I already own a glock17.....(magazine interchangeablity). my question is the how much more recoil in the .40 compared to the 9mm in the subcompact models? I hope to get one or the other by father day......

I do not own either, but have shot both the 27 & the 26. I do not feel the recoil is significantly more with the 27, that is my opinion. If I were looking at getting one vs the other and I already own a 9mm I would probably lean towards that side (the 26), again my own preference.

I have a G27 that I carry daily. I had to get the magazine extender so it fit nice in my hand. I have yet to shoot the G26 so I am unaware of the difference in recoil. The recoil with the G27 is very managable, and it is a great little shooter.

I use to carry a 27 and I loved it. Ended up selling it to a friend that really wanted it and now I carry my 23.

My 2 cents

For the last 8 years I have carried the Glock 22 on my hip and the Glock 27 on my ankle.

I always felt that the ability to use my 22 magazines in my 27 was a huge advantage.

I have shot both the 27 and 26. I don't believe the recoil between the two is significant.
