You dont have to resort to pistol whipping with a glock cause they never jam.

No, they may not jam, but they do blow up in your hand.
Then the Glock elites blame it on ammo, or the ammo maker.

Glocks just don’t support the case heads enough.

Glock did not do anything more than make a striker fired gun mainstream. Nice but not new

I would not carry my 108 year old Luger. It shoots fine but times have changed. The 1911 is just as aged and its time is long past. Both are interesting and have wonderful histories. Many police departments don't want the added liability of allowing single action condition 1 guns to be carried. (and what good is a 1911 in any other carry condition)
Especially when you can buy a Glock and get a basically high capacity revolver. No safety, trigger cocks the gun.

The Browning Hi Power was a better all around gun

A 1911 fanboi that won't carry a 1911 because of its limitations. Oh the irony.

    Then there's this:

I ain't giving up my 1911s just like I ain't gonna quit chasing white women
Why do 1911 fanbois always think somebody wants their style of choice to go away.
I choose not to carry one, that's my choice. Keep and carry yours, that's up to you.
I loved my S&W 4506 I carried for many years. Love the way 45 acp feels when it fires. That slow KAAABOOM that has to be learned in order to control. Its great!
I also love that ultra fast feeling POW of 40 cal. I found I could get back on target so fast. A pleasure to enjoy both.
The 1911 is a looker to. and for me a natural feeling grip. Also a pleasure. Glocks are great shooters too.

I don't own a Glock or a 1911 now. But if they are your thing, God bless you, I'll stand with you for the right to keep and bear your weapon of choice. But I won't stop joking about your Tupperware or ancient gun choices.

Browning designed how many guns that were and many still in production?

    Glock has .............one..........

Striker fired guns are all the rage, sure.....ease and cost of production, reliablity ect.....

But really, what real innovation has occurred in firearms since the 80's?

Just refinement of previous and current designs.....nothing really new.......

    jmho....
