    El Paso only:

Anyone want to swap their G22 for a G23?

I think I would do better in IDPA with the G22. The G23 is more ideal for CCW.

    thanks

btw I know this section is almost dead so im just giving it a shot.

Why wouldn't it cut it? It's got the same capacity as a 22 if you use the mag from the 22. I know a couple of folks around here that shoot better with their 23. Just askin' .....

Its just the longer sight radius and the extra length of the barrel that I'm looking for.
Also I'm not really a tactical guy, I'm a civilian so I'm more into the sport/fun.
Im blue collar so im looking for a used one to buy or trade.

    Glock 22 or Glock 35

I personally have never found the an extra 1/2" impacts my shooting nearly as much as stance, lining up the sights, and not stumbling (as I have been known to do!). I'd prefer the 22 or 35 but I sure wouldn't pay a lot of difference in price over a 23. These is just my thoughts as there are sooo many variables before you get to the little difference that the 1/2" makes it would be, in my opinion, negligible. Results may be different for someone else.

Don't get me wrong, if you can do a swap without paying too much, you can't go wrong. I wouldn't pay more than $40 or $50 max if someone wanted to get a slightly shorter barrel/hood for concealed carry. Good luck.
