I'm all for free market but some folks are getting stupid. Your beat up used Glock isnt worthy of a 50 to 100 percent retail mark up.

And that's a special different kind of stupid than the idiots paying that price. Or meeting behind the adult bookstore at 2 AM to deal.

    Update the spreadsheets gentlemen.

Seriously, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Dont get me started on 1500 dollar WASRs or fubard bubba gunsmithing home brew ARs.

But they know what they got.

Who knew shit was worth so much.

Were in a pandemic dont you know.

I may be overpaying for a Glock soon. It’s the color and model I want and they are hard to find. Would I pay that much for a black Glock? Heck no.

I’ve never understood the fascination with colors on Glocks, M&Ps or other ordinary pistols. To me, they’re tools, not show pieces. I like Glocks ok, and have a few of them, and they function well, but they’re all ugly regardless of color.

Now, a nice 1911, lever gun or single action revolver is another matter altogether.

Free market right? There is a price to be paid for waiting until the middle of a crisis to buy a gun.
I see a lot of people thump their chest about America and freedom.
Part of that freedom is to dispose of your property how you see fit.

Your freedom is to not buy it if you don't like the price or terms.

Being "free" to do something ONLY if I agree with you is a liberal idea...

Correct. If someone is desperate enough to pay $900 for a custom stipple job (think dude with soldering iron) on a Glock 19 Gen 3, then so be it.

What I AM against is the neckbeards going to Academy, buying a bunch of ammo, then selling it on Texas Gun Trader for quadruple price.

No one is putting a $300.00 AR together in the current market.....those days are gone.....

I pass on Franken AR's ........ I don't care how much they spent on it.......

Our new guns are still within 25-30 dollars pre-covid/riots...there has been some small increases....ammo on the other hand..........

I paid 3% over MSRP for a relatively hard to get plastic gun and am very pleased. In my opinion I paid what it is worth. I’d do it again sans pandemic freak out.
