What is this sweet tea thing? As a young native of the Great State of Texas I was frequently mortified by my dear mother's request for sugar for her tea! Packets were grudgingly produced about which she would complain loudly, they would not dissolve in her iced tea! These protestations elicited no sympathy of her efforts to adulterate the obviously superior unsweetened tea she had been traditionally served.
