IMO S&W makes a fantastic production 1911 in .45acp - PC or not. Mine's been rocking for years with thousands of rounds down range. Had to replace the extractor a few years back but otherwise no issues. Eats anything and is the most accurate pistol I own.So I see quite a few folks have the SW PC 1911 what are the thoughts on it? I am a huge sucker for lightening cuts in the slide but I would definitely also like to have a bottom rail.
Are there any issues to look out for? Ammo it likes/doesn't like to cycle?
That is what I am hearing outside of multi thousand dollar custom jobs this one seems to be rock solid from the factory. Was the extractor just banged up by brass or?IMO S&W makes a fantastic production 1911 in .45acp - PC or not. Mine's been rocking for years with thousands of rounds down range.
