Now that my competitive shooting is done (for now), it's time to put some rounds down range that aren't in practice. Practicing any discipline is like doing homework...not fun, but necessary to excel. I've been looking forward to just the pleasure of some no-stress shooting with a couple of favorite handguns. At the top of the list is a Smith & Wesson K22, which I bought in a pawnshop outside of FT Bragg in 1978. The other is my old National Match 1911A1 GI .45, accurized by the AMU in FT Benning. Retired from competitive work, it's still a sentimental choice.
