I was traveling home from west Texas yesterday and was right in the thick of the shit. I took these pics while parked on the access road at Gilbert Pit Road off of I-20 about 8 miles west of Weatherford.
This is the storm that hit Granbery. It doesn't show up very well in this pic but the entire thunderhead column was surrounded by a halo:
These tornados came from the direction of Mineral Wells and moved southeast toward Weatherford.
