good news/bad news

went to academy today and brought a bersa tunder 380cc went home to clean the oil off the gun i was useing hoppe's #9 solvent and it took the blue off the gun now the gun looks old is there anything i can do to fix this? not to mad i will carry this gun when my ccl comes in ian more worried about the gun rusting

I have a Bersa T380 that I thought I would never get the oil off. It finally came clean and I was worried about the finish also. So far it has not shown any rust. I have had it 8 months and is my primary carry gun.

Try and put a small amount of oil on it from time to time and it should be fine.As long as you do not see bare metal you should be good.If you live in a humid area then oil more often.I have had my Bersa for years and still no rust.
