    There is Absolutely No proof Garrett killed William. If it sells someone is taking a huge gamble at any price. Williams death is the only thing that put Garrett on the map.

    The auction was mentioned on another website. I mentioned that there is a pretty good case for Brushy Bill, who died in Hamilton in 1950, was actually Billy the Kid. Got slammed for even saying it! Don't know for sure, of course, but don't know that Garret killed him, either. Garret and the man who "identified" the body wanted the $600 reward. I suspect they would have said anybody they turned in with two arms and two legs was the Kid.
    Similar to the case of Butch Cassidy and his Harry Longabaugh being killed in Bolivia. Lots of questions about that as well.
