GOV shutdown affecting CHL processing times?

Just wondering, like the title says - or is it about the same? I have heard someone getting it in a month. It's been 2 weeks but on the website, my info is still not updated. I have tracking number on the envelope and i know it got there.

i'm not sure how the federal government shut down would affect the state government processing CHL applications - unless it was from the NCIC being shut down for a short period of time

No, if you go to the chl track the status thread, you will see some people did not have their info updated at all but still got theirs. the info was updated after they received their chl.
