Went to an estate sale today near my house. Found these 2 bags of .223, 1000 rounds each for sale. Asking $100 each, got them for $60 for both. Reamed, cleaned, sized, trimmed and primed. From Top Brass Inc. Also got 3 lbs of black powder for my Cannon for $10 and a Galco Yaqui Glock 19 slide holster for $10 as well as another range bag for $5.

I guess that new reloading setup is going to pay off!

Being allegedly retired, I hit estate sales and CL on a regular basis looking for reloading equipment. Picked up 2 different lots Thursday. Traveled to Waco for the first lot, decent price for things, but not great. A friend who works at a LGS contacted me, said they had picked up some reloading equipment and supplies when working with a client. Don't carry reloading stuff wanted it off premise now. Picked up a bunch of sealed powder, 2000 primers, and a bunch of bullets along with a lot of equipment. Basically paid retail for the powder/primers, and got the equipment for free. Sometimes you get lucky.
Also been to estate sales where everything was priced at retail plus 10-20%. Always a crap shoot, sometimes the dice roll your way, sometimes they don't.
