For locals who follow this thread, does the Texas City Municipal Shooting Range still exist?

Same question for the HW Gun Range and Shooting Center.

Their websites are gone and I'm wondering if they no longer exist or maybe I just need to find a new link and update page one. A little help from folks near them would be much appreciated.
As far as I know Texas City is still there.

Boyert shooting range off of Mason rd in Katy. Its and indoor range I went to with a group from TGT once. It was a nice range

I went there once, and their Westheimer location which is now a Range USA. The thing that ticked me off about Boyert was their automatic target retrieval when your time is up. I was in the middle of a string, and the only one on the range. That was it for me. Every place I've been if the range wasn't busy they didn't care if you went over, within reason.

Thanks. The URL had changed and it was showing 404. Based on your input, I have fixed the entry on page 1.

Typically go to Texas Gun Club in Stafford because it’s close to my house.

If I’m in the Lake Jackson area visiting my folks I sometimes drop by Big Kountry in Richwood.

I really need to check other places in the area

I never heard of them but when I went to their website: "...Please note, we are a BRASS ONLY range. No aluminum, steel casings, steel core, and reloads without the approval of the General Manager."

I need permission for reloads? What possible criteria do they use to decide? If I can't shoot my reloads I'm not interested. I wonder if they let you pick up your empties.

Wouldn’t surprise me. There’s money to be made selling brass. Scrap value today is $1.53/lb. Probably not too hard for them to pick up a couple hundred bucks a day on discarded cases.
I've been to a few ranges where the rule was if it hit the floor it was theirs. Jokes on them, I brought revolvers.

When you check in, they only ask if you’re using brass. They don’t check your bag or anything like that.

As far as if they let you collect your casings, I don’t know.

I won't shoot at those places, just on general principles.

In order not to fully derail this thread, haven't we had a thread elsewhere specifically for bitching about stupid range rules?

I've run into brass bunnies at the Range USA in Humble. They were a nuisance during COVID-19 when components were hard to find.

Thunder is the same way if Jessie or his workers see you picking up brass from the floor they come to you right away in their golf carts to give you hell.

    Gunz are icky.
There is an indoor range like that up on the NW side of Houston.
Saddle River or something like that.
ALL your fired brass belong to us bullsh!t. Regardless if it hits the floor or not.
When I went to this range I took a 9mm moonclip revolver just to test this.
The cases were a bear to get out of the moons without a special tool.
So I set my range bag on the table, remove a loaded moon, load it, fire it, remove it, placing the fired moon back in my range bag, rinse, repeat.
Absolutely nothing touched the floor or even the table top.
Range Goon hits me up informing me ALL FIRED BRASS BELONG TO US.
I replied, Did my brass hit the floor?
He just said, ALL FIRED BRASS BELONG TO US.
I said Ok. You pick all the cases out of my moons you can have it.
He just hurumfed and walked away.
I can understand 9mm brass on the floor but they aren't getting my difficult/expensive brass such as 45Colt, 44Sp, .454 Casull, etc..
They can jump in the lake.
