Green New Deal: Is It Really Just About Climate Change?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey are introducing a bill that seemingly takes on Green Energy. Although I'm not totally against green energy, which already exists, and certainly not against an idea to create cheap energy for all, this bill is not just about energy. This bill is also laying the framework for, not just a social program, but flat out communism.

This is insane, not only to believe all that it claims to could be done in 10 years, but that it could be done at all, especially when you add on what seems to be reparations to a long list of groups. I especially like how it claims that every building in America will be upgraded, in 10 years? Really?

If you have the time, read the Bill, I LMAO and was SMDH that this could actually be serious.

Upgrade 138 billion buildings in 10 years. Where's the money for that.

Wants everyone to get a living wage. Even those who are just 6nwilling to work.

Wants to increase the sttandard of living for the middle class. Okay, that is possible if you tax the rich enough that they become middle class


Free healthcare not just insurance.

Basically that thing is an attack on America and the American way of life.

Let’s simply give everyone $20k per year.

Guess what happens next?
The price of literally everything just went up by $20k.

And the poor are still poor.

Socialism is nothing more than a consolidation of wealth and power. Wealth still exists, it’s just impossible to attain if you don’t already have it.

Originally she was talking about a living wage for those unwilling to work. Who'll work under those conditions? I'm going to work to pay someone unwilling to work? She got so much flack from that that they rewrote it out of the bill.

Every time they talk about free health care for all, remember there is a difference between what they will allow you to have and what you might need. You get what they give you, not what you need. That is free health care.
