Just joined the board, happy to be here!
I found the board looking for OC stuff on the net. reading about the texas mom group that is anti gun, got me to thinking...i am going to start my own activist group. I decided that there are way to many of these "mothers against XXXXXX" groups, and it was high time that somebody formed a mothers group that is actually FOR something instead of against. since membership in these "mothers against..." groups is not limited to actual mothers, i dont think that the fact that i am neither a mother nor a parent matters. in fact, is being a mother even relevant to whether or not "action A" is good or bad? moreover, it sorta implies that non mothers really dont have much credibility. it borders on sexism!
So, i am going to form my own group, MAMAS. Mothers Against Mothers (who are) Against Stuff.
our goal will be to oppress oppression with great oppression! FIGHT THE MOTHERSHIP!
